Chris Tran bought my first solid core silver cable i ever made in 2008 on ebay and asked if he can order more from me. It was at that point i started selling to HIS company wholesale @ $35 each. eventually i started getting return customer retail sales because of Chris’s lack of customer service. the original owner (Jin) of this website offered it to Chris but he decided to make his own. I then took over headphonelounge.com from Jin.
For 5 years, I have made almost every cable sold as CHRIS_HIMSELF / SILVER RAY / HPL ETC. We definitely had a lot of ups and downs but in the end i felt it was best for all involved to go our separate ways. I then took over ownership of headphonelounge.com in MAY,2013 but continued to sell wholesale to chris’s company until august.
I formed HEADPHONELOUNGE.COM as it is today featuring FBI cables.
It is a one man operation so you only deal with me DIRECT. It was way too much trouble doing Chris’s orders as mistakes etc caused too many issues.
My new Cables name is FBI cables which stands for FROM the BIG ISLAND as I lived on the BIG ISLAND OF HAWAI’I for 24 years. I honor my ohana (local family) and aina (land) for teaching me how to be a better person. There is no room left in my life for untrustworthy people. If you want straight honest answers then just ask.
My goal is the same as it was when I started, reasonable prices for a quality product! No flashy names or descriptions that make customers believe in miracles.
