Which headphone or IEM
OCC Copper – OCC Silver Plated Copper – OCC Silver
As for length, that depends on your source and how you plan to use your headphone or IEM. For a portable rig, I would recommend 48 inches to 52 inches in length. For a desktop 60 inches is a good starting length. Please be aware that the prices quoted are for 50″ cables for IEMs and 5 foot for headphone cables. Each additional foot will cost $15 for OCC copper or OCC silver plated copper. Each additional foot of OCC silver costs $20.
4. Y CONNECTOR
For the Y connector, Headphonelounge has everything from exotic woods to carbon fiber.
example 5TH from right is carbon chrome barrel
If you want to sheath the cable check out the color options below but you can also decide not to have the cable sheathed.
BLACK,SHADE 19,GREY,SPECIAL RED,COPPER,GRAND BLUE,MEDIUM BLUE,AQUA,CAMO,GREEN,NEON GREEN OR VANILLA SAND
6. PLUG TERMINATION
Lastly, the termination or plug for the cable. If you have a balanced amplifier or source you will need a balanced termination like the XLR, iBasso/Hirose or RSA/ALO or Kobiconn connector. If you plan to use it with a portable player with a protective case you will need a 3.5mm plug long enough (Oyaide style or Viablue) so that you can work with the player in the case. The Neutrik plug is not long enough to connect through a case.
Remember, you are paying a good deal of money for these cables so take the time to order exactly what you want. I hope this helped and feel free to ask me anything further and I will walk you through the entire process. 97% of orders have been thru emailing me. again, i’m generally within 10′ of laptop so i’m always checking emails.
