Congratulations on choosing Headphonelounge.com featuring FBI cables.  As these cables are custom you have FIVE / SIX  decisions to make about how you want to customize your cables, Model,Wire,Length,Y-Connector and Plug/Termination.

3. LENGTH

As for length, that depends on your source and how you plan to use your headphone or IEM. For a portable rig, I would recommend 48 inches to 52 inches in length. For a desktop 60 inches is a good starting length. Please be aware that the prices quoted are for 48″-52″ cables for IEMs and 5 foot for headphone cables.  Each additional foot will cost $15 for OCC T2 – T3 copper or OCC silver plated copper.  Each additional foot of OCC T2 silver costs $20.

note; i usually have the option of a few extra inches after braiding so if its needed just ask.

4. Y CONNECTOR

For the Y connector, Headphonelounge has everything from exotic woods, bone to carbon fiber.

5. SHEATHING :   FULLSIZE HEADPHONE CABLES ONLY

If you want to sheath the cable check out the color options below but you can also decide not to have the cable sheathed (standard braid).

6. PLUG TERMINATION

Lastly, the termination or plug for the cable. If you have a balanced amplifier or source you will need a balanced termination like the XLR, iBasso/Hirose or RSA/ALO Kobiconn connector.  If you plan to use it with a portable player with a protective case you will need a 3.5mm plug long enough (Oyaide style or Viablue) so that you can work with the player in the case. The Neutrik plug is not long enough to connect through a case.

Remember, you are paying a good deal of money for these cables so take the time to order exactly what you want.
